Clydebank Football Club have joined forces with West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare to support their annual Christmas appeal.
Bankies fans are being invited to donate at Saturday’s home game as they host Troon at Holm Park.
The charity is asking supporters to bring vital items including new toys, non-perishable food, gifts, selection boxes, toiletries and nappies.
With distribution points across West Dunbartonshire, the foodshare also supported 653 youngsters through their annual toy bank last year.
🍞 At the moment, West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare are giving out about 330 emergency parcels per week.

Clair Coyle, foodshare trustee, said: “We were set up in March 2013 in response to a high number of people presenting at advice agencies with no food and no money.
“For families feeling the effects of food poverty, they don’t have any money whatsoever to buy their kids Christmas presents.
“We’ve been running our Christmas toy bank appeal for the last five years now, so we’d be really grateful if fans were able to bring along a new toy that could be used.”
Clydebank FC chairman, Grace McGibbon, added: “So many people in our local community are struggling to make ends meet at this time of year.
“We’re happy to be able to play a small part in making a difference to families across Clydebank and West Dunbartonshire.”
