BAE Systems is looking for more than 60 apprentices to take on during their 2020 intake.

A recruitment open evening is being held next month in Clydebank.

Anyone interested in becoming an apprenticeship with the company is invited to attend the night held in West College Scotland on Thursday, December 12.

Drop in at the event from 5pm-7pm to discover all ways you can play a part in the naval ship business.

They are currently hoping to fill a total of 63 apprenticeship vacancies – based across the two Glasgow sites – Scotstoun and Govan.

The company say that early careers routes into BAE Systems Naval Ships is a smart way to earn as you learn, and build professional skills and qualifications whilst securing a long term future career.

This year they are recruiting for a number of different intermediate, advanced, higher and degree apprenticeships.

At the event, you will be able to speak with the early careers teams, meet current apprentices, meet with the staff from West College Scotland and see their facility as well as listen to talks on five available programmes.

The recruitment window is now open and people can apply online, with the closing deadline at the end of February.
