DOGS from Clydebank are being invited to meet Santa at the Scottish SPCA’s very own “Grrr-otto”.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity is holding the festive event at the Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre on December 1 from 11am-3pm.
Kim Mackrell, assistant manager of the centre, said: “We are encouraging dog owners to ‘bring their doggo to Santa’s grotto’ this festive season.
“Dogs will get to meet Santa, receive a gift and get their photo taken with their families.
“Even though Santa will be there to meet his canine chums, children are welcome too.

“We’ll also have raffles, stalls, crafts and opportunities to meet our resident animals in need of their forever homes.
“And we’re delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to experience time with animals."
All funds raised on the day will go towards the animals in care.
Anyone interested should book their place by phoning 01389 761208 or by visiting the centre.
