A MAN found lying at a bus stop in Drumchapel is being treated for stab wounds.
Police were called after the 20-year-old was found lying at the bus stop on Kinfauns Drive, near its junction with Goyle Avenue, at around 5.50am this morning.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for stab wounds and lacerations.
Hospital staff describe his condition as serious.
Detectives are appealing for information following the incident.
Sergeant Scott Brockie, of Drumchapel police station, said: “We do not believe that the man was attacked within the bus stop, and we are carrying out enquiries in the local area to establish the exact circumstances and where it took place.

“Kinfauns Drive is a busy main thoroughfare, and I would ask anyone who was in this area this morning who witnessed any assault take place, or who has any information on the circumstances surrounding this incident to contact Drumchapel police station."
