CLYDEBANK’S Oli Keenan has thanked the community for the “love and support” shown by all following his Hallowe’en performance.

The 23-year-old actor brought terror to the town last week when he, his mum, dad and younger brother held a Shining-themed event at their home in Linnvale.

Hundreds of people turned up to be entertained after Oli shot to fame as Pennywise the Clown last year.

Oli said: “Thank you all so much for coming out. Reflecting back, I’m overwhelmed with all the beautiful love and support you have all gave us.

“We first and foremost do this for you, so that a community can come together on one night, have a laugh, be scared and make memories.

“I hope more than anything that years down the line the kids of Clydebank remember that scary man and that magical, weird, spooky and fun Halloween house.

“I have loved hearing all your feedback and we look forward to doing it again next year.”

Oli was dressed as Jack Torrance from Stephen King’s 1977 novel, and the house was transformed into the Overlook Hotel for the night.

Those who dared to venture to the creepy location weren’t left disappointed as Oli put on another show-stopping performance to entertain trick-or-treaters.
