BANKIES are being offered a chance to sweep their supermarket for five minutes of bargains.
Clydebank's Aldi is inviting shoppers to sign up for their Supermarket Sweep to mark their 25th anniversary in Scotland.
Residents can fill out a free application form in the Kilbowie Retail Park store between November 3 and 9 to be in with a chance of winning.
One lucky consumer will be chosen to do a five-minute trolley dash and take home everything they grab in the time.
On top of that, Aldi will donate the cash value of the trolley to a chosen foodbank.

Richard Holloway, regional managing director for Scotland, said: “The famous Aldi supermarket sweep is now coming to Clydebank, giving one lucky shopper the chance to stock up on their favourite Aldi products while also raising money for their local foodbank.”
Shoppers will be asked to name their chosen foodbank when applying. All entrants must be aged 18 and over.
Alcohol is not included in the sweep.
