A PUB in Clydebank is undergoing a refurbishment – creating seven new jobs in the process.

The Titan Hungry Horse on Great Western Road closed its doors on September 23 and will centre around bar and dining areas when it reopens on October 9.

Undergoing a complete six-figure sum refurbishment, the interior will benefit from the addition of contemporary tiling and a modern finish to provide an inviting environment.

The beer garden will also be extended with added seating and the introduction of outdoor lighting.

Mark Dalton, general manager, said: “We are at the heart of the local community, so we want to provide our guests with even better surroundings in which to enjoy a great selection of inviting menu options throughout the year.

“We’re really excited about the refurbishment and look forward to welcoming our Clydebank neighbours to the revamped venue when it officially opens.

“That weekend is set to be big, with a series of events to celebrate the opening. A launch party with a karaoke contest will kick this off on Friday, October 11 and we are inviting everyone to come and celebrate with us.”

The pub is still looking for two kitchen team members; applicants can send a CV to 1782@greeneking.co.uk.
