CLYDEBANK’S very own Pennywise the clown will be hosting Glasgow’s number one scare attraction this Hallowe’en.

Oli Keenan will be on hand to introduce guests and cause terror and mayhem at the “scare cinema” - which will be held in an abandoned warehouse.

Horror Nights Glasgow have organised a maze of terror, which visitors will need to brave before they take to their seat to watch the movie of their choice.

Oli, from Linnvale, became an internet sensation after a video of him and his little brother Flynn went viral last Hallowe’en.

The pair, dressed as Pennywise and Georgie from "IT", terrified trick or treaters who dared to chap their door.

The 22-year-old former acting student told the Post: “The video got around 21 million views which is mad, but I’ve had so many opportunities from it - from a Netlix show, to working with this company and hosting an event like this.

“When I was younger I loved horror movies and scary things, so to be hosting a horror event now is just the perfect segue.

“I will be introducing all the films and there will be photo opportunities with me as Pennywise, I will be interacting with the audience, speaking to people, as well as terrifying them, so it’s going to be good fun.

“I will be playing games with the audience and there are a lot of surprises planned.”

Oli will be attending five different movie events which are taking place over two days - October 25 and October 26 at one of “Glasgow’s most haunted venues” in Govan.

As well as a movie, a maze of terror which is described as “the home to some very unfriendly inhabitants who are dying to meet you”, there will also be street food and a horror bar with cocktails.
