THE Clydebank Musical Society Juniors are working hard to pay for their upcoming show.

More than £1,000 has been raised at a recent charity night held in St Mary’s Church Hall branded a family fun night at the musicals.

A selection of the Juniors performed songs from their favourite musicals including Footlose, Gimme Gimme, and Unchained Melody.

All of the money raised will be going towards paying for their next show – Our House.

And another fundraising night was held on September 7 - raising more than £2,000.

The Juniors competed in ballroom dancing while dressed up as Disney characters and the audience paid for votes to crown their champions.

And the hall was decorated in all things Disney themed including a Mickey Mouse balloon arch, Mickey and Minnie chair covers and sashes, all thanks to Allison’s Magical Weddings and Event Planner.

Tickets for the Juniors’ show this year are already on sale.

Performances will take place from Wednesday, October 23 until Saturday, October 26 in Clydebank Town Hall at 7.30pm. There will also be a Saturday matinee show at 2pm.

It costs around £10,000 for the group to hire the space in the town hall for eight days which doesn’t include sound or lighting, or the payment of professional staff needed,

You can get tickets for the upcoming show priced at £12 or concession £11 at A Crafty Affair at the Clyde Shopping Centre or by calling 07707294300.
