BANKIE Talk are looking for volunteers to join their team.

The group provide a service for the blind and visually impaired in the Clydebank area so they can keep them up to date with local news and events.

Readers whose role is to read articles from the Clydebank Post out so it can be recorded and put onto a disc are being sought.

The volunteer, who is asked to be aged 16 or over and speaks clearly, would be required to meet every two weeks or so, depending on a rota.

The group operate out of units 13 and 14, at the Clyde Business Centre, 31 Clyde Street.

More than 100 audio discs of the Post are provided per week.

And Bankie Talk, who have been running since 1989, have more than 100 members who use their free service.
