MORE than 360k worth of drugs were found at two properties in Whitecrook on Friday.

Two different houses were searched in Braes Avenue on September 6 – resulting in the drugs being seized.

At the first address officers searched the property and recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be heroin and Diazepam with an estimated street value of £357,530.

Two women, aged 18 and 41, and a 20-year-old man were arrested in connection with the recovery.

Meanwhile, at the second address in Braes Avenue, officers searched the property and recovered a quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis with an estimated street value of £7,030.

A 50-year-old woman and three men aged 19, 25 and 26 years have been arrested and charged in connection.

All seven were due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court today.

Detective Inspector Andy Doherty of Clydebank police office said: “This significant seizure reinforces our commitment to disrupting those involved in the supply of controlled drugs and it ensures that these illegal drugs will not be distributed to our local communities.
