POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses after Specsavers in Clydebank has been subject to thefts.

More than £3,500 worth of frames have been stolen from the store on Britannia Way in two separate incidents.

On August 13, a thief entered the shop and took 11 designer frames worth £1,700 at around 4.30pm.

And on September 2, more stock was taken from the same store.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information regarding both incidents, and anyone with information is asked to contact 101.
