LAGER fans in Clydebank are being challenged to have a pint in some of the most beautiful areas of the country.

Glasgow-based brewers Tennent’s have launched their ViewPints map, which pinpoints 15 different locations across Scotland which have the best views to enjoy a drink.

From the nearby Loch Katrine to Edinburgh’s Royal Mile and even as far away as Loch Ness, the creators of Scotland’s favourite beer have lined up some of the best scenery for a cold drink.

If anyone manages to take in all 15, travelling at least 830 miles by land and sea, Tennent’s has also pledged to hand out a year’s supply of lager.

Alan McGarrie, of Tennent’s Lager, said: “Scotland is the most beautiful country in the world, and what better way to compliment those stunning views than with a pint of the country’s favourite beer.”

“We’ve created the ViewPints map to inspire and challenge beer drinkers to get out and see Scotland like never before.

“Taking in all of the bars would be a very impressive achievement, which is why there’s a year’s supply of beer for anyone who manages to make it round all 15.”
