YOUNGSTERS from Clydebank enjoyed a trip to Auchengillan Scouts Outdoor Centre last week, courtesy of Y Sort It.
Emily Kirkwood, a coordinator for the youth group, said: “It was an amazing day from the get-go – two coach loads of children were taken.
“Upon arriving, the young people were split into different teams with a youth worker or volunteer and they would partake in various activities at the centre.”
Those attending the site near Carbeth took part in axe throwing, samba drumming, rock climbing, photography workshops and enjoyed a visit from the Birds of Prey.

Emily added: “After lunch, we enjoyed a showcase of talents from the young people which they had been learning throughout the Youth Alliance Summer Programme.
“From dancers and singers to animation reels, it was amazing to see what the young people had learned throughout the holidays.
“Dinner was fish and chips from the chippy van, followed by some sweet treats with Iain’s Ices, which set us all up for the disco and outdoor bouncy castles and zorbing fun until 9.30pm.
“It was a fantastic day for everyone involved and, safe to say, everyone was falling asleep on the bus home.”
