OFFICERS dealing with a matter at a house in Duntocher noticed that the electricity meter had been bypassed.
Staff from the electricity provider SSE told police it was an incredibly dangerous thing to do with an obvious risk of causing a fire.
SSE also told police that there was evidence the meter had been bypassed for many months, and that individuals stealing electricity will be reflected in higher electricity costs for honest customers.
