POLICE officers who noticed a large amount of smoke coming from the exhaust of a van in Clydebank discovered the driver was allegedly under the influence.
They stopped to speak to the man about the exhaust and he reportedly smelled of alcohol at 12.45am on Sunday, August 11.
He was then arrested after he allegedly failed the roadside breath test.

The man was detained to appear at court charged with drink driving, driving without a licence and insurance, and for driving the vehicle without the owners consent.
