THIEVES who broke into and robbed a Clydebank shop have sparked a police appeal for information.

The usave store on Mountblow Road was subject to the theft between 2.30am and 3.30am on Thursday, August 1.

A crowbar was used to get access to the shop, and a large amount of alcohol, cigarettes and money was stolen by three men.

They were all wearing masks and are aged between 20-40 years of age.

Officers have put out an appeal for information today.

Detective Constable Ross Kelly, Clydebank CID, said: "We have carried out a number of lines of enquiry to try and trace those responsible, however, are now appealing to anyone who may have any information to get in touch with us.

"You may have been disturbed or seen three men in the area at the time of the incident. If you remember anything, we urge you to come forward."
