HUNDREDS of people turned up to celebrate the 11th year of the Whitecrook Gala Day.

Saturday’s event promised to be bigger and better than ever before, with lots going on throughout the day.

And crowds weren’t disappointed as entertainment and activities including garden workshops, pony rides, soft play, fairground rides and much more were enjoyed by all.

Sharon Keenan, chief executive of Clydebank Housing Association, said: “We were so delighted with the fantastic turn out at our annual event and thank the whole community for their support which made it such a success again this year.

“It was great to see so many people having a great day out.

“I particularly want to thank our partners at Centre81 including John White and Clydebank East Community Council, Isaro, WDC, our Centre81 and project staff and the many volunteers without whom the day would not have been possible.”
