POLICE are investigating following a housebreaking in Scotstoun.

A house in Manor Road was robbed at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, July 30.

Officers said a quantity of items were stolen, but the value was not revealed.

A man who was within the area at the time, wearing a bright pink baseball cap, may be able to assist police with their enquiries.

He is described as of Asian appearance, 5ft8 in height, of slim build, early 20s, with dark curly hair.

He was wearing a long-sleeved top, blue tracksuit bottoms and the bright pink baseball cap.

Constable Rachel Fulton, of the Community Investigation Unit at Govan police office, said: “We have been making enquiries in the area since the break-in but have not been able to identify the man so far, however, we would now ask anyone who was in the area, especially in Victoria Park Drive North and Balshagray Avenue to think back to Tuesday and see if they remember seeing a man wearing a bright pink baseball cap about the area.”
