A Clydebank teenager who assaulted his father at the family home on Boxing Day has been given the legal equivalent of a slap on the wrists as a punishment.
Ryan Pritchard, 19, punched his dad on the head in the attack at the property in Oronsay Crescent on December 26 last year.
Pritchard was not present when his case called for sentence at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, but after hearing that he had been of good behaviour since the case last called, Sheriff William Gallacher simply admonished him.
