A DRUGS courier who was snared during an investigation into an organised crime gang was jailed for four years on Wednesday.
James Gibson, 44, pled guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to supplying herbal cannabis between November 21, 2017, and February 14, 2018.
Police kept tabs on Gibson and then raided his Yoker flat, where a tick list was found.
Prosecutor Blair Speed said: “The accused has previous convictions for drugs offences."
He added: “A phone was recovered which was later analysed which contained messages related to the supply of herbal cannabis.”
The cannabis recovered totalled 10.5 kilos and had a street value of £105,000.
Judge Lord Matthews said: “You have pleaded guilty to a very serious offence.
