Fosters Family Funeral Directors have expanded their portfolio with a new and beautifully presented parlour now open on Dumbarton Road, formerly D & H Morgan Car Garage.
The parlour is run by branch manager, Lorna Montgomery, and her team who have many years experience assisting families throughout Scotland.
The local funeral directors offer a range of affordable options for families such as funeral packages or the increasingly popular pre-paid funeral plans. They also understand that each and every funeral is different and so offer bespoke options such as a horse and carriage, uniquely designed coffins and evening services. The Clydebank parlour also has a service room which seats 50 people.
Lorna said, “We look forward to serving the local community of Clydebank and West Dunbartonshire. We aim to tackle funeral poverty by keeping costs low whilst at the same time, offering the best possible service to the families at what is one of the most difficult times in their lives.”
The firm held an official Grand Opening event on 29th May 2019, which saw Lord Provost William Hendire officially open the venue.
The staff at the new Clydebank Parlour also held a raffle in aid of St Margaret's Hospice thanks to the support of local businesses who donated lots of fantastic prizes. As with every raffle at a Grand Opening, Fosters match the amount of money raised so St Margaret’s will be receiving a donation of just over £600.
