A DRUMCHAPEL-born author has lent her support to an award-winning production company to help raise funds for their next project.

Harmsway Productions are producing a short film based on Stephen King’s novel All That You Love Will Be Carried Away.

And author Jan McPeake, born and raised in Drumchapel, has pledged 15 per cent from all Amazon sales of her novel Transference.

Until July 31, 15 per cent of all sales from Jan’s critically -acclaimed debut novel will go to the Harmsway Production GoFundMe page.

That’ll provide Harmsway with funds to help them complete post-production on their short film.

“Henrik and his cast impressed me, when I saw they’d started a GoFundMe page to help with costs, I knew I wanted to help.

“Since Transference was published in October 2018, it has been going down a storm with fantastic reviews and support all over the world.

“There’s no better way to get people reading while helping someone at the same time, and I am happy to help.

“I am excited for the premiere and to see the end result of their hard work and dedication, and who knows, one day they might be filming Transference.”
