A woman has died following a crash involving a car and a pick-up truck pulling a trailer.
The crash happened on the A948 Auchnagatt to Ellon road at around 4pm on Friday near to Golf Road in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
The collision involved a white Volkswagen Polo and a white Mitsubishi L200 that was towing a twin axle trailer.
The 35-year-old woman driving the white Volkswagen died.
A 33-year-old man and two children aged six and four were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police could not confirm which vehicle they were in.
Sergeant Andy Meikleham of the Roads Policing Department said "Our thoughts at this difficult time are with the friends and family of those involved."
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and urged anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand or has any dashcam footage to contact Police on 101 and quote incident 2945 of 12/07/2019.
