THE annual Bowling Gala Day proved a lot of fun.
With all the usual festivities, including a tombola, a barbecue, and stalls, there was enough to keep all the family amused.

But the highlight of the day was after the procession when the village queen, 10-year-old Summer Cranney, was crowned at the public hall.
