EIGHT people were arrested following a disturbance in Clydebank last weekend, police have said.

Officers attended at Pattison Street at around 2pm on Saturday, June 22.

Three women, two aged 20 and one 22 were arrested along with five men, aged 25, 26, 27, 29, and 30.

All will be subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.

West Dunbartonshire Community Policing Inspector Mo Boyle said: “We are working closely with communities and partners to take direct action on issues of local concern across West Dunbartonshire.

“This has resulted in positive feedback from the public and a number of people being reported to the procurator fiscal for anti-social behaviour related offences.

“Local residents deserve to live their lives free from the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour and we will continue to do everything we can to prevent incidents of crime and disorder."
