EMERGENCY services have attended the scene of an accident in Clydebank.

Police Scotland confirmed that there has been a crash involving a bus and a car on Mountblow Road.

There were seven passengers on the bus, five adults and two children, and six of the people were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The extent of the injuries are currently unknown.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called to the scene of a road traffic collision involving a car and a bus at around 11.54am this morning."

Officers are carrying out enquiries.
