TEENAGERS are avoiding the credit trap by turning to the community-run credit union for help with cash.
The youngsters from The Hut youth project in Temple have been fundraising for a trip to Australia and were rewarded for their hard work with a generous donation of £500 from the Glasgow Credit Union (GCU).

One girl from the group said GCU made her aware of the pitfalls of applying for credit cards.
