PUPILS at St Eunan’s Primary School got an insight into the work that goes on at Scottish Water recently.

Laura Boyce, corporate affairs officer at the company spoke to primary four and five pupils on June 6, about the work that goes into getting fresh, clear water to their taps each and every day.

The kids were keen to hear about the behaviour change campaign “Your Water Your Life” which encourages people to make tap water their first choice and carry a refillable water bottle when out and about.

Laura told the Post: “If everyone makes small changes then together we can make a big difference. Children today are incredibly switched on and so it’s important that we take time to speak to younger generations about the steps they can take to help us keep the cycle running and protect our environment.”

“Raising awareness of our campaigns, as well as the work we do with Keep Scotland Beautiful, helps us do just that. If everyone makes small changes then together we can make a big difference.

“I was so impressed to hear all about the hard work the pupils at St Eunan’s have been doing to raise awareness of environmental issues. It was an incredibly inspiring visit.”
