A CLYDEBANK company that manufactures printed circuit boards has been named winner of the prestigious award, Dunbartonshire Chamber Business of the Year.

European Circuits Ltd (ECL) was announced as the overall winner at the glittering Working4Business Awards dinner at Clydebank town hall, which was attended by around 200 guests, and was hosted by the comedian Karen Dunbar.

Damon Scott, chief executive of Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “The entries for this category are always really strong and it was tough to pick the winner from the three excellent finalists that included European Circuits Limited, Bruach Design and Consultancy and JC Electrical & Security Solutions Ltd.

“Ultimately, European Circuits’ entry impressed our panel of judges most, demonstrating effectiveness in business with a clear vision for the future, innovation, people development and community impact.

“This is a fantastic fit with many of the values of award sponsor, Clyde Marine Training (CMT) whose team were also invaluable in picking an outright winner.
