CHILDREN, parents and staff of Gavinburn Nursery celebrated an eco-friendly day recently.
The learning centre in Old Kilpatrick was presented with yet another Green Flag award.

Seeds were planted to spruce up their already colourful garden.

Marie Wilson, head teacher, said: “Our children, parents and staff proudly celebrated our third Green Flag award from Eco-Schools Scotland, in recognition of our ongoing work and commitment to a wide variety of eco initiatives.
“None of this would have been possible without the excellent and unwavering support form our parents and extended family members. We thank them all.”
The Eco-Schools Scotland programme is made up of seven elements used to plan action on environmental issues for which a Green Flag is awarded.
