SUPERHEROES were spotted in a Clydebank dentist last week.
DB Dental Care took part in Superhero Day, on May 10, to raise money for Cash for Kids.
Employees recently took part in the Kiltwalk and raised more than £1,200 for the local charity to add to their overall total.
Clyde 1’s George Bowie and Cassi popped into the dentist on Kilbowie Road dressed as Superman and Supergirl to show their support.
George said: “The reason we’re out today dressed as superheroes is to raise awareness and money at this time of year because the summer holidays are coming up and there are a lot of kids who might not get fed or have anywhere to go. That’s horrendous to think of due to the length of time that covers over the summer holidays.”
Kids from local primary schools also enjoyed a visit on the day and were shown what it’s like to be a dentist.
Stuart McGrow, DB Dental Care’s principal dentist, said: “The kids loved using the dentist chair and mirrors so we might have encouraged a few potential dentists for the future.”
He also completed a skydive along with Clyde 1 Super Scoreboard pundit Gordon Dalziel.
