POLICE are appealing to members of the public for help in tracing a missing teenager who was last seen with an unknown man in Knightswood.
Mia Russell, 16, was reported missing by her family after she failed to return home last night.
She was last seen around 8pm in Loanfoot Avenue, Knightswood, in the company of a man who is not known to her family.
Mia has been described as white, around 5 ft 3 with a slim build and long brown hair,
She is wearing a red jacket, a white top, jeans and white trainers, and is carrying a white handbag.
Extensive enquiries are underway to locate the 16-year-old with officers checking CCTV in and around the area.
Officers said Mia's family are "understandably upset and just want to know she is safe and well."
Police would like to speak to any taxi drivers who may have been in the area of Loanfoot Avenue, Knightswood and who may have picked up Mia and the man she was with.
If anyone has seen Mia or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts, please call officers at Shettleston Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 3483 of 13 May 2019.
