There were three alleged thefts in and near Clyde Shopping Centre last week.
A 62-year-old woman was reported to the procurator fiscal for taking £40.50 worth of clothing from Poundland on May 3.
On the same day, a 35-year-old woman was arrested and detained for court for alleged theft of £182 worth of children’s clothing and confectionery.
Police are also investigating the theft of a pedal cycle near the canal path footbridge at the shopping centre sometime between 6pm and 8.30pm on May 3. The bike, a red Trak and black bike lock were removed.
