A group of young tennis aces braved the cold this week to serve up success in the Active Schools tennis final at Kirktonhill.
Players from St Michael’s, Goldenhill, Renton, Knoxland, Gartocharn, St Mary’s (Duntocher) and Whitecrook Primaries battled it out to see which school would be crowned this year’s West Dunbartonshire champions on the court.
In the end that prize went to winners St Michael’s, while Goldenhill came second and Renton came third.
Emma McCluskey, Active Schools coordinator, said: “Well done to all schools on reaching the final at Kirktonhill Tennis Club and thank you to the club for hosting us!
“Huge congratulations to our champions of 2019 - St Michael’s Primary School!”
