POLICE are hunting a teenager who threw a bottle from a bridge and left a pedestrian with a serious head injury.
The 25-year-old was standing on Balmoral Street at the junction with Earl Street in Scotstoun when he was struck by a bottle thrown from an overhead cycle path bridge.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was treated for a head injury.

The suspect is described as white and around 16-17 years old and was wearing white trainers, bright orange trousers, a yellow t-shirt and a yellow skip hat.
Police Constable Kirstin Walker, Drumchapel police office, said: “This was an extremely dangerous act and we are doing everything we can to trace the person responsible.

“The suspect was wearing very distinctive bright colours and therefore we are asking you to think back, were you in the area on Friday afternoon, did you seen anyone matching that description?”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Drumchapel police on 101 or Crimestoppers quoting incident number 2474 of Friday, April 19.
