A GRAFFITI artist’s work in West Dunbartonshire has had a positive effect on Y Sort It.
The youth group approached the artist, known as Barry the Cat, and asked him to design a mural for their new premises for the Street Bikes project, which encourages young people to be more active on bikes and learn about safety and maintenance.

Barry said: “The mural, naturally, had to feature bikes or bike-related activities. After visiting the premises and looking at the wall I decided to use the corner as the focal point with the design wrapping around the two sides.
“The mural aims to reflect the intention of the project in a fun and colourful way.”
Barry has completed a number of projects in West Dunbartonshire for Dumbarton football stadium and local businesses in the area.
