Gordon Murray, this year’s president welcomed his committee and three new members on to the green before making a speech.
He officially opened the green and thanked members and guests for coming, wished them well, and hoped they would enjoy the day and season.
A game of bowls then followed between members and invited guests to get everyone into the spirit of the new season.
The club always welcomes and encourages new members to join, so feel free to pop down.
