A CAR that was set alight last week was caused by two men pouring accelerant on it, that had been within a bottle then left at the scene.
Previously, the Post reported that the vehicle was wilfully set on fire within a car park at Clarence Drive on Tuesday, April 2 at around 10pm.
The crew manager at Clydebank Fire Station confirmed that the accelerant was put down the front nearside and offside of a navy Kia Ceed car and then set alight.

The neighbour observed two males dressed in dark clothing, with their faces and heads covered running from the area where the car was parked.
They appeared to be young due to being fast and ran in the direction of the play park near to East Thomson Street.
