PUPILS at Linnvale Primary had fun on Red Nose Day while raising money for Comic Relief.

Mrs MacNab, pupil family and support worker at the school, hosted a talent show.

Rebecca Ross, a P6 pupil, told the Post: “It was so tough for the judges, so the audience had to decide the winner by screaming the loudest for their favourite act.

“It was very close but the winner was “Sass and Style” which was Tommy playing on the drums and Emma singing along.”

“A Million Musicals”, made up of P6 and P7 children singing, came second place.

The school also held a dress down day with a red coloured theme and the children had to bring in £1, resulting in £265 being raised for charity.
