YOUTHS in Clydebank damaged a bus by throwing a brick and smashing a window.

The bus was being driven along Chalmers Street, beside Clydebank railway station, at around 10.40pm on March 28 when two youths opened an emergency exit.

The driver of the First Bus got out to close it, and as he got back in and drove off, a brick was thrown at a window causing it to smash. Damage estimated at £250 was caused.

Police are carrying out enquiries to identify the pair responsible and anyone with information is asked to contact 101.
