A CLYDEBANK born and bred resident who survived the Blitz has recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
Margaret Wright who has lived in Clydebank all her days, turned 100-years-old last month and had fun celebrating the special occasion with family, friends, and Provost William Hendrie at Hill View Care Home.

Margaret was in the dance hall on Graham Avenue when it was hit by a bomb during The Blitz, and her and her brother spent the rest of the night with many others in the La Scala.
She worked in Singers from 1933 until 1946, and then went back in the 60s until 1977.
