A DOG has been taken from its owner by police following an alleged attack on a woman in Clydebank.
The 36-year-old woman was at the bank machines near Asda with her "Irish wolfhound rottweiler cross" when she was approached by a man with a Staffordshire bull terrier.
The bull terrier reportedly attacked and the woman was bit on the forearm, leaving her with puncture wounds.
A report on the 51-year-old own of the bull terrier will be submitted to the procurator fiscal and his dog was seized by police.
