KNIGHTSWOOD teens were recently given the chance to help shape their future using technology.

Pupils from Knightswood Secondary took part in eLearninternational 2004, organised by Scottish Enterprise and attended a two day summit in Edinburgh.

The project explored ideas and researched what the pupils thought their generation feels about e-learning and its role in their future education.

The pupils all spent four months devising and organising imaginative events and activities and then presented their findings at the summit.

The Knightswood team focused on their ideas of how learning will be in the future and they held a ‘mini experience’ in their school, in January, which proved to be very successful.

James Rennie, one of the Knightswood team, said: “Everything that we have achieved over the past few months has been a lot of hard work, but now that we are finished I think it has been worth it and we have benefited lots from it.”
