Drumchapel and Clydebank Kayak Club is looking for new members.

They offer loads of trips throughout the year, and give participants the opportunity to explore areas off the coast of Scotland which are not normally accessible on foot.

The club currently meets up every Tuesday night at Clydebank Leisure Centre for a pool session (7pm-8pm for children and parents, and adults beginners/novice classes are at 8pm-9pm.)

It is open to new members joining anytime throughout the year, and everyone will be made to feel more than welcome.

As well their weekly meet ups, the club also has regular outings to various interesting locations, including a recent night-time paddle to sugar boat as well as a trip to the Isle of Cumbrae.

As the nights get longer, the club will return to the Pinkston Watersports Club in Glasgow, then during the summer months, there are regular sessions at Loch Lomond which allow you to go round exploring the many little islands on the Loch.
