ROADWORKS will be carried out on Drumry Road this week.

Scottish Water is advising road users in Clydebank that traffic management will be in place, so that site investigation work can be carried out.

On Monday, February 25, survey work will begin, and the work is expected to take approximately three days for completion.

One lane will be closed westbound on Drumry Road and four-way lights will be in operation at the junction of Clarence Street and Drumry Road from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day.

Ruaridh MacGregor, corporate affairs manager, said: “We’d like to thank local residents and road users for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential survey work on our sewers.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this work might cause, however, we are doing all we can to minimise disruption and have plans in place to help reduce delays for road users.

“The work on Drumry Road will take place out with peak travel times."

Further survey work will then begin on Montrose Street on Thursday, February 28.

Three-way lights and an eastbound lane closure between Clarence Street and Arran Place will be in place until Friday, March 1 inclusive.

Mr MacGregor added: "The temporary traffic lights on Montrose Street will be manually operated to help keep the traffic flowing."
