If YOU are looking for something fun and educational to do with your baby or toddler, then why not pop along to your local library.

Parents and carers can take their pre-schoolers Bookbug sessions that run throughout the area.

The 30 minute sessions, part of Scottish Book Trust’s early years programme, are inclusive and welcoming, free, and fun-filled story, song and rhyme events for babies to four-year-olds and their families.

There will also be time afterwards to browse through the library’s collection of books.

The Scottish Book Trust said: “Sharing just one song or rhyme a day can really help your child learn and develop. It also gives you a chance to share a special moment together.”

Sessions run in Clydebank Library, Dalmuir Library, Duntocher Library, Faifley Library, and Parkhall Library.
