BIG-HEARTED Duntocher kids are set to provide a cash boost to Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.
St Mary’s Primary pupils presented Sandra Stevenson with a £250 cheque, marking their cash raising efforts.
Primary three pupils at the Chapel Road school ran a Christmas shop as part of an enterprise project, earning money for charity in the process.
Pupils themselves suggested the organisation for sufferers of the chronic lung disease, as a worthy cause.
Class teacher Jane Crombie commended the kids on their hard work.
She said: “The kids did some market research to see what their classmates would buy. They had a great time and we are delighted that we can also help support a worthy cause.”
Youngsters sold stockings, hand-made items and their own unique brand of “Santa dust” — a concotion of porridge oats and glitter for Santa and his reindeers — to raise the charity cash.
