FIT fund-raisers bowled themselves silly at the Clydebank Megabowl recently — all in the name of a local charity.
And the big-hearted bowlers — all staff from the DCSA Communications Centre at Faslane — raised £1,000 in the process.
The generous staff presented a cheque to delighted members of the second CHAS hospice.
They spent all of last year fund-raising for the charity, finishing up at the Megabowl in December.
A DCSA spokesman said: “Many thanks to Eirene McNamee and all the staff at the Megabowl for all their efforts, and for donating the lanes on the night.”
Delighted Michael Connick received the cheque on behalf of the second CHAS hospice, at Robyn House in Balloch.
