A CLYDEBANK man has been issued a community payback order for assaulting his ex-partner.
Kyle Ashman, 23, of Dalmuir Court, punched his, then partner, to her face on October 7 last year.
He appeared for sentencing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, January 25.
His defence lawyer, Kenny McGowan, told Sheriff John Hamilton that Ashman is now working full-time and works as a steward for security company G4S.
He asked the sheriff to take the hours Ashman works at present into account when imposing a sentence.
The 23-year-old was put on a community payback order with six months supervision and ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within this time.
